This six-hour interactive course offers lots of mindfulness practice informed by neuroscience basics. Delivered onsite, usually over six consecutive weeks. Based on the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program created in 1979 by Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn, Professor of Medicine Emeritus and Founding Executive Director of the Stress Reduction Clinic and the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
60 minutes x 6 sessions, generally over 6 consecutive weeks
